The purpose of taking trial and test shots prior to actually shooting our trailer for The Unknown was to determine any adjustments which needed to be made in order to ensure we would've achieved maximum efficiency when shooting the actual trailer. Many high end institutions also do the same in order to ensure that a trailer and in this case horror genre movies, maintain realism and professionalism upon its release.
